On Jobs Training: The Academic Programmes will be assisted with arrangement for the on-the job training of the student with various companies and business establishment during the final year of the academic programme. The objective of the on job training is to help students gain practical experience of Business operations and exposure to the complex demanding real world of business. It also provides them a competitive edge in the job market. The placement cell of the SVITM will assist the students in security job after well before the end of their educational programme. The placement brochure will be widely circulated to potential employing companies followed by personal contact by the training placement officer. The objectives are to invite the companies for campus interview.
Industrial visit has its own importance in a career of a student who is pursuing a professional degree. Experiential learning is the most popular and fastest form of learning. Visits to industries are an integral part of management studies. It provides hands on experience and enables the students to get practical exposure in real time. The management operations can also be understood to a great extent. SVITM emphasizes on providing holistic industry-exposure across various sectors and business verticals. Several industry visits are conducted at esteemed commercial institutions. Students thereby develop a perspective on various practicalities of professions by organizing multiple industry visits during the course of stay of a student.
At SVITM, Placement workshops are taken by champions from industry, Alumni and by the senior faculty. It provides students with an understanding of skills required to get a job and to do well in a job.
